Estfeller Roof Windows

Attic Living is the sole distributors for the Italian designed "Estfeller" roof window. Estfeller windows come in a wide range of sizes up to and including balcony sized. They are all double glazed and filed with inert gas to cut heat and UV by over 80% but still allow natural light to stream through. A full range of blinds and insect screens are available for all windows. Top hung and horizontal pivot window enables you to clean the window from the inside and to take advanage of any cross ventilation opportunity. The offset horizontal pivots make easy work of cleaning the exterior pane. The positioning of the pivots towards the lower part of the sash means the window can swing towards the rooms interior making cleaning fast and simple. Maximum rotation is approximately 180°. "Compact super" windows are suitable for roof pitches greater than 15°. The solid spruce frame is IDROTOP treated: two coats of transparent water-based acrylic varnish afford total protection against the elements. (Frame and sash are made from solid spruce.) Easy opening - just release the catch and move the window to the required position. Perfect balancing assures that the position will be maintained indefinitely. Estfeller roof windows are fitted with a convenient, easy to reach handle located on the lower part of the sash. The handle can also be secured so as to leave a 1cm gap to allow natural ventilation of the room without leaking in the event of rain. Weather Seals - a special weather seal on the jamb assures perfect weather tightness of the roof window. Double Seal* the compact super also provides a cavity system that enhances insulation properties. Hailstone Resistance Insulated Glazing The heat insulated glazing system comprises two 4mm panes with a 15mm cavity. The heavy gauge glazing assures excellent impact resistance (providing protection against hailstones, etc).
